| Instrument research associates supplies an explosion proof [intrinsically safe] pressure transmitter with datalogger. This is useful in hazardous areas such as lpg plants, gas pipe lines, chemical plants, industrial process control and food industry, where measuring and recording of pressure values at regular intervals or on continuous basis is essential. The pressure datalogger operates on battery and it has non-volatile data memory for 1,30,000 measurements, and more than 10 years of memory capacity at one measurement per hour. This datalogger incorporates programmable measuring interval from 2 sec to 24 hours. The stored data can be transferred at any time to a laptop or handheld computer making use of windows 95/98/nt package. By downloading the data to a computer, online process pressure parameters can be continuously monitored and recorded.. Also, transmitting the values from hazardous area to safe area could be arranged using zener barriers.
