| Torsion springs from accurate group of companies are constructed with rotated ends in an angular deflection thereby providing resistance to externally applied torque. The name of these springs suggests the wire to be subjected to bending stresses other than torsional stresses. These torsion springs are suitable to close wound, lower the coil diameter, and increase body length as per their deflection and thus the friction and arm deflection effects on the torque must be considered. The company supplies these torsion springs in two types such as double torsion springs and other springs with feature of space between the coils for reducing the friction. The salient features of these double torsion springs include one right-hand and one left-hand coil section connected together working in parallel and separated sections with total torque exerted with a sum of two. For specific type of torsion springs for individual requirements, the user should offer detailed characteristics such as inside and outside diameter; size of the rod in case the springs work in a rod; right or left hand wound; wire size and decimal size; type and grade of material; ends style; loaded arm radius; deflection number to hold given load; length of the point of application of load; finish specifications or plain finish; coil number; and free length.
