• Add to Inquiry Basket | Multi loop pid temperature/process controller from libratherm instruments is ideal for those processes where multiple zones heating or heating plus cooling control is required. It is also very effective for difficult process where accurate temperature of number of heating/cooling zone is required. There is no need for number of individual pid or on/off temperature controllers while using it. Thus it saves on cost. The unit is able to accept 8 thermocouples or rtd [pt-100] inputs and can provide switching pid or on/off control output in the form of dc pulses or ssr drivers for heating and cooling. Eight analog pid control outputs in the form of [4-20 ma] or [0-5] volt are provided by the unit at the same time. This is used to drive external scr heater power controller or other actuators. Other features include open or faulty sensor indication for each zone is displayed, each zone loop parameters like pid, set, hysteresis, power limit and ramp time values can be programmed, display scan rate is programmable from 1 to 99 seconds, internal control scanning rate is of 100 ms, provides high and low alarm relay outputs technical specifications: available in standard 1/2 din [192 x 96 x 200 mm] for 8 zones, 6 zones or 4 zones, operates on 230 v ac with built in high and low supply voltage trip circuits, protected against industrial rfi/emi interference. It is used in plastic extruders, plastic injection, tunnel furnaces and ovens, etc.
