| Eltek systems, specialist in developing import substitute products, has introduced scm/rtd module as a direct replacement for taylor scm/rtd module. It operates on 24 v dc supply and generates isolated supply for rtd excitation. Linearisation of rtd input is performed and output current of 4-20 ma is generated which is also isolated from rtd and input supply of 24 v. Auxiliary isolated voltage output of 1-5 v is also available on request. Thus this module has quadruple isolation. Allowable cable resistance is up to 22 ohms in 3-wire configuration. The accuracy of the module is better than 0.2%. Long term stability is 0.1% per annum making it virtually free from recalibration during its usage. The company also manufactures 4-20 ma/4-20 ma isolator and thermocouple to 4-20 ma isolator with quadruple isolation.
