Universal inductive proximity switch is offered by close contact . This proximity switch provides some technical features which include: is a three-wire inductive proximity switch which is available in m18, m30 and m36 sizes; operates on 10-30 v dc supply and can sink or source load currents up to 300 ma; can be operated in any one of the four modes, ie, pnp no, pnp nc, npn no or npn nc; provides complementary output ie, pnp no and npn nc. This proximity switch also provides flexibility of switching from one mode to another and can help reduce downtime. To have another set of output ie, npn no and pnp nc, just reverse the polarity. There is no need of jumpers ; output status is indicated by a dual colour led and it is provided with short circuit protection.
