This namur proximity switch is a two-wire proximity switch.Where low operating current is desired this switch is applied mainly used in hazardous areas where low operating current is desired. Namur proximitythis switch is available in size m6.5, m8, m12, m18, m30 and m36. When actuated with a metal piece tthe normal operating current for the switch is more than 3 ma , which drops down to 1 ma when actuated with a metal piece. This current change is processed by a control unit and tis control unit is placed in the control room which to provides relay output. The control unit is provided with features such as open circuit and short circuit indication, which makes its operation more reliable.
