| Aarco offers chain electric hoists. These come in four capacities, i.E., 500 kg, 1000 kg, 2000 kg and 3000 kg [415 v, 3-phase, 50 hz, s4 duty]. These hoists can be set at a fixed location or are movable with hand-operated geared or electric driven motorised trolley. Electromagnetic disc fail-safe brake positively arrest the load when the hoist is stopped or in the event of power failure. The hoist motor is totally enclosed squirrel cage hoist duty type with class b insulation. It has ip 44 protection in accordance with is:325 .The helical and spur gears are precision cut, made of alloy steel, mounted on antifriction ball bearings and run in oil bath. There is a overload friction clutch that acts as emergency limit stop for the highest and lowest hook positions and protects against overloads. It has control voltage of110 v/24 v/42 v according to is standard. The standard hoist is chained for 3 metre lift from eye to bottom hook, but higher lift hoists also comes. The load chain is made from high tensile gr 80 alloy steel according to is:6216 and hooks are forged steel as per is:3815/8610.
