| Nmt & associates providesoffers freewheel oneway clutches [unidirectional couplings]. These unidirectional couplings lead to reduction in cost as compared with separately controlled other equipments/attachments. There is nno driving contact between inner and outer ring in one direction of rotation butand there is driving contact in the other direction of rotation, which transmits torque. Three types of freewheels are available, viz, sprag [standard, indexing and centrifugal lift off] roller and cam-roller combined are the three different types of freewheels. These unidirectional couplings are applied in e are used as overrunning coupling, indexing [feeding] and backstopping [holdback] clutch. The clutches are provided supplied duly oil filled and ready for installation. For mounting, freewheels are provided wwith tapped holes on face/clear holes or with flanged outer diameter with clear holes or lever arm with through slot/clear hole for mounting, freewheels are provided . Various aapplications of the couplings include: bottling machines, gearboxes, bucket conveyors, screw pumps, vacuum pumps, turbo compressors and a host of other industrial uses.
