| Control dynamics has introduced universal programmable logic controller, plc-52, with legible alphanumeric liquid crystal display facility in english characters. The front panel covered with feather touch keyboard avoids dirt and dust from entering the panel. The keyboard can be locked assuring program protection from unauthorised use and preservation of monitoring conditions. It is designed with 24 v sensor power supply and has two types of output--either relay or transistor. There are 8 to 64 outputs are available in expandable form. It has standard master control, shift register functions and timer counters. Input, output, tuner, counter, and internal relay numbers come to users for readout. All operations are either using prom or rs-232 interface. Operational control functions consist of scanning control system, program system is by stored program, instruction words with 14 basic instructions and 5 auxiliary instruction, programming method is logical symbols, and is built around 64 point internal relay 20 point timer setting from 0.1 sec to 25.5 sec, 12 point counter section from 1 to 255 counts with power failure preservation, 8 point shift register and standard 16 outputs. These plcs come for a host of applications including press brakes, shearing machines, injection moulding machines, pharmaceutical and textile machines.
