| Videocon offers a remote controlled power inverter which is compact, easy to install, reliable, silent and works instantly upon sensing the power failure. It is based on the latest slx technology, and is specifically designed and developed for indian conditions in the videocon r&d centre. The power inverter works with the help of external car/truck batteries and connects directly with the ac switchboard. Power inverters in slx 9000 series [currently available in select cities only] come in a choice of 4 models and need no rewiring. They can operate different kinds of loads like tubelights, bulbs, fans, tv, pc, and other appliances, and useful for shops, offices, clinics, and homes. Depending on the battery size, back-up time of as much as 4 hours is also possible.
