Manufactured by jay engineers, camlocks is used in various industries like fertilizers, chemical, petroleum, dyes, paper mills, textiles mining, brewing, inks, processing plants, etc .The principle behind the design of camlock is simple pivot pins for coupler cam arms which lock into the adaptor groove are located so that when line pressure attempts to force the camlock apart, the bottom edge of the adaptor grooves pushes with equal pressure against the under edge of the cam arm increasing the locking action. Manufactured from selected raw materials these are under strict quality control. The body is made of solid bar stock of aluminium, ms, brass ss 304 and ss 316; or in castings of carbon steel grade wcb or is 1030, gunmetal grade lg2c, aluminium bronze grade ab2c, ss 304 with cf 0.08 & ss 316 with c.F. 0.08. Cam arms are made of castings of ss 304, with c.F. 0.08 ss 316 with cf 0.08 gunmetal grade lg2c and aluminium bronze grade ab2c. Seals are available in nitrile, viton. Neoprene, silicon. Hypalon, etc. End connections: socket weld, hose thread, pipe thread, hose shank and flanged. Sizes: 1/2" to 6" depending on type and material. Working pressure: for 1/2" to 2 sizes - 500 psi for 3"to 4" sizes - 200 psi for 5" to 6" sizes - 100 psi. Temperature: the coupler can handle fluid from - 40° to + 350°c with right selection of body material and seal.
