| Atco provides total weighing solutions. These weighing solutions are used for check weighing requirements. To check, classify and segregate products by weight, is the main purpose of the check weigher. The weight information can be statistically analysed, accumulated and displayed through computer interface and also can be used as an effective quality control tool. Following are some of the technical features of these check weighing systems which include: usually includes means of transferring commodities across the scale, check the weight within tolerance band, ie, preset overweight and underweight zones limits. After checking it segregates the out of limit commodities as reject or rework items. Typical use of check weighers: check the underweight and overweight packages; check gross underweight commodities; to assume that all powders are included check packaged mixes with multiple powders; verify the count by weight-such as checking of missing bottle, can, bag, etc, from carton; check package mixes against under and overweight limits to the ratio within established quality norms; classify products into multiple weight grades or categoriessuch as poultry eggs, golf balls, etc; and, weigh before and after process to check the performance of the process.
