Industrial grade zinc sulphate plant includes various compartments such as digesters, rubber lined mild steel tanks, pumps, filter press, crystallisers, chilling plant, compressors, mild steel storage tanks and centrifuge. The plant ensures efficient performance and good capacity. The plant has the feature that zinc sulphate is manufactured by the reaction of zinc ash with sulphuric acid and the sulphuric acid is diluted to 65 to 70% with recycle water/ wash water and the acid is neutralized with zn ash. The plant has the feature that as the reaction is complete the reaction mass that is filtered through filter press and the filtrate is cooled down to 18 ° c with normal/ chilled water and crystalline solid is centrifuged to remove any surface water. The industrial grade zinc sulphate plant ensures that the zinc sulphate hepta hydrate comes packed in 1 kg, 2 kg, 5 kg and 10 kg packs.
