Rutile Type Electrode for Mild Steel is easy to operate on AC as well as on DC power source in all conventional welding positions and soft and steady which is easy to strike and restrike and self detachable slag and weld bead of good appearance. The Electrode finds application in structural steel, auto bodies, machinery construction, building construction, railway wagons, ships, truck and bus bodies, auto parts, bridges, boilers, pipe lines, tanks, trailers, steel furniture. The Electrode has diameter from 2.5 to 5 mm, length from 350 to 450 mm. The Electrode has elongation of minimum 20%. The Electrode has the feature of easy desiagging. The Electrode ensures minimum smoke and spatter and has the feature of low carbon, sulphur and phosphorus pick up in the weld metal.
