| Star scientific manufactures thermocouples and thermocouple assemblies. The thermocouples are widely used in process industries as temperature sensing elements. Their long-term accuracy and reliability has made them better choice for measurement of temperatures over a range of -1 50 ° c to 1600°c. These thermocouples inserts and complete assemblies are as per ansi mcs96.1 standards, din 43710 or etc. The elements are all matched to give accepted performance curves as per ansi mc96.1 standards. The thermocouples can be supplied with single, double or triple elements. Resistance is more than 500 mega ohms at 500 dc as per isa mc96.1. Sheath material is of stainless steel 304, 316, 310, inconel 600. Terminals are of high quality brass silver or nickel cadmium plated and are mounted on a porcelain block or glass epoxy base. Nipples are made in ss304/316 with %" ssp male threads. Unions are as required with %" npt or %" ssp male threads. Other fittings are adjustable glands, compression fittings, adjustable flange or spring-loaded bayonets with adapter as required for sheathed elements.
