| The selection of diamond wheels depends on the following parameters, shape and size, bond, grit, concentration and depth of impregnation. The selected diamond wheels should be of maximum diameter, strong and sturdy for better strength. In case of machine grinding, rim width should be smaller than the depth of diamond impregnation. For grinding larger surfaces narrow rims and deep diamond impregnations are suitable. The choice of bond depends on the use.
Spectra diamond tools presents both resinoid and metal bonds. Resinoid bonds are more suited to fine grinding, smooth and very rapid cutting action in both dry and wet grinding conditions. Metal bonds are also used for both dry and wet grinding.
