| Silcarb heating elements offers highly efficiency furnaces for non ferrous metals. These melting cum holding furnaces, are particularly suitable for aluminium in pressure die casting industry. Here normally for large scale operations there is a central melting furnace and separate holding furnaces but in case of small operations with one or two machines, it is advantageous to have melting cum holding furnace. Use of silicon carbide heating elements manufactured by the silcarb heating elements saves power as these elements have better efficiency than conventional metallic coil type elements. Also these do not need supporting refractory bricks, thus saving more power. There is also low downtime and minimum maintenance. It has long crucible life, variable power input and accurate temperature control.
