| Sev electrical equipments offers cable fault locator & pick-up set, which is the instrument is used to pinpointlocate cable faults and can be also employedused as cable route tracer. The cable fault locator & pick-up set instrument is de signedengineered for maximum sensitivity. This unit and converts the seismic disturbances createdgenerated at a fault point because ofdue to high energy dissipated by a surge generator/thumper. The sensor of the cable fault locator & pick-up set is electrically screened to avoid the effect of external noise. Sensor and it has an extension handle to facilitatesmooth the progress of moving and placing it along the cable route. The sensor base of the locator is fashioneddesigned for a maximum sensitivity using a tripod arrangement. Acoustic and magnetic amplifiers are housed in separate screened compartments of the cable fault locator & pick-up set. These amplifier units have possess separate gain control and display meter to indicate the strength of the input signal. This cable fault locator & pick-up set from sev electrical is equipped with high high impedance, philips-make headphones with excellent lf response are used. The cable fault locator & pick-up set has the following featuresfeatures: the instrument has the facility to mute the acoustic,.
