Scorpio engineering manufactures and offers aeromechanical conservation fro conveyors that fill the gap between flexible spiral conveyors for both indoor and pneumatic conveyors. An airstream is created in a pair of tubes by the motion of a series of plastic small business disks evenly spaced on an endless wire rope, which rotates on head and tail sprockets at the two ends of the tubes. Material is fed at the lower end of the unit through a hopper and is carried up to the discharge by entrainment within the airstream. The plastic disks help in creating the airstream and also to contain the material mass being lights fixtures transferred. Multiple discharges are possible by linking the units in stairwells, tonnages up to 40 tph are possible.
