To attain virtually zero leak in pumps handling aggressive and abrasive fluid media. Packing for Slurry/Hazardous Fluid Media or Carboflon RI- 405 offers excellent resistance to aggressive media namely; acids, alkalis, solvents, caustic, hydrocarbons, etc. And due to the high mechanical strength it has got good resistance to abrasive media like grit, metallic slurry, ash slurry, sand slurry, saline water, etc. Even though the packing is having high mechanical strength, it does not damage the sleeve, which helps enhance the packing and the life of the sleeve.
