[India], Department of Atomic Energy, etc. The Spiral Wound Gaskets are composed of a metallic continuous stripe with a special shaped profile, coupled with a continuous filing stripe evenly wound in concentric spiral under constant stress. The Spiral Wound Gaskets are reinforced on the inner and outer diameter by winding of several electrically welded spiral metals only. They are available in circular, oval and oblong shape. They can also be combined with jacketed gaskets to tighten heat exchangers` internal shapes.

The Spiral Wound Gaskets are of different types like spiral without inner and outer ring, spiral with only outer ring, Spiral with only inner ring, spiral with inner and outer ring, spiral with inner or outer or with partition filler material.
