Insecticide or Indoxacarb is available along with a broad-spectrum lepidoptera insect control agent. It belongs to a class of chemistry-Oxadiazine. The major insect pests controlled by this product include species of Heliothis, and Diamond Back Moth. Its low use rate reduce environment loading, particularly when compared to other conventional insecticides. The relatively low mammalian toxicity offered by this product provides improved safety workers, as well as terrestrial mammals and birds as compared to conventional SP`s OP`s and carbamates. This insecticide interferes with a group of ion channels by inhibiting the flow of sodium into nerve cells, causing pest paralysis and death. The primary route of entry into the target insects is through ingestion, although the product is also absorbed through cuticle.
