Used for writing/printing and absorbent kraft paper.
Salient features of Oil Penetration Tester are:
Instrument chamber has an orifice for holding the liquid medium and a clamping device for holding the material.
Penetration timer stops automatically after releasing the sample holder.
Provided with Electronic Pad digital temperature controller to control the temperature of liquid at 35 +/- 1 degree C
Double processed castor oil having viscosity of 700 +/- 30 centipoises at 25 Degree C or mineral oils of the same viscosity and comparable wetting characteristics are used.
Suitable range thermometer also provided
Stop watch or electronic timer notes penetration time after oil comes in contact with paper.
