- Copper snare drums Hand-Hammered on the bottom half: Hand-hammering distresses the metal and gives it even darker tonal characteristics. This drum is hammered on the bottom half for warmth, but the top half is not hammered so that the drum can take the punishment of even the heaviest hitter.
- Anton Fig style lugs: The Mike Bordin snare uses the same lugs found on the ever-popular Anton Fig snare. These lugs are borrowed from our line of marching drums for clean looks and durability.
- Black coated rims and unique finish: The 2.3mm thick triple flange Dyna Hoops are strong, giving you precise tuning yet they allow the drum to open up. The rims on the SD6465MB are black coated, and the shell is `heat finished` to give it a beautiful dark finish
