The cd ssd-92 is a precision dosimeter for the calibration and quality assurance checks of radiotherapy machines. The instrument is supplied with a standard 0.5cc ionization chamber.

The cd ionization chambers are connected to the ssd-92 by bnc plugs. The instrument can be used with many types of chambers. These are available in different volumes, parallel plate chambers, well chambers etc. Cd ssd-92 can also be used with solid state detectors. Over 80 cd dosimeters have been supplied in india. It is normal to find their calibration accuracy to be within 1% even after many years of usage.
