Solar hostel lighting systems is specially made for hostel use. The solar panels are fixed on the roof of the hostel, which saves the energy from the sun and convert into electrical energy which stored in batteries. The stored energy in the batteries utilized for lighting the hostel at night. There are automatic on- off solar light switches with a manual switch. 8 to 12 hours of sunlight in the day is enough to light the hostel during the night. Once the battery is fully charged, it can support up to 10 non-sunshine days. Other features available with solar hostel lighting systems are that the lights are provided with overload, short circuit, reverse polarity and lightning protections. |
