Senses phase to phase voltage, hence works well even if there is a problem with neutral line. And does not get confused with reverse voltage that comes back from the power transformer.
Wide input voltage range. 3 tap model works from 150v-280 volts. 4 tap model from 135 - 280 volts.
Micro controller based. Proper tap change points, proper hysteris, proper protection against possibility of thyristor failures. Proper visual indication in case of thyristor failure.
Bypass switch: in case of svr failure, bypass switch is provided, reduces down time in case of any failure in svr [optional]
