Prama intech pvt limited offers wide range of electrical insulation and sleevings especially for electrical industry. As part of that that company offers varnished fiberglass sleevings, which is coated with polyurethane varnish. These are manufactured complying with b.S. 2848 and i.S. 11654 standards. They have high flexibility. They are flame retardant and resistant to most solvents. These are available in various colours. The standard sleevings comes in one-meter length. The company also provides smaller lengths as per customer`s requirements. They find wide application in coils, motor windings, transformers, generators, alternators, wiring harnesses, relays, inductors and carbon brush leads. The sleevings come with following salient features:
Continuous working temperature of -10 c to +155 c with peaks of +180 c
compatible with most impregnating varnishes
Good resistance to moisture, mould growth and humidity
Very high flexibility
Di-electric strength from 2.0 kv and depending on thickness ordered with very good insulation resistance
Good tensile strength
