| Tecsis gmbh has developed latest series of compact tension/compression force transducers with up to 500 kn extended measuring ranges. This new series of compact tension/compression force transducers is an enhancement of the 3550 series and has been brought onto the market in the past year by tecsis. The original load stages of the tension/compression force transcuders has been extended from 2 and 50 kn up to 500 kn. Thus also the application range has been expanded as in addition to the applications as a torque brace or in testing machines, applications in heavy machinery can also be developed. This force transducer comes with a tecsis thin-film sensor and this unique, innovative technology guarantee robust force transducers with long-term stability. The tension/compression force transducers come with the advantage of high self-resonance, good transient response and small measuring distance. The tension/compression force transducers are suitable for both static and dynamic applications. Some of the technical specifications of the tecsis tension/compression force transducers include 0.2% accuracy final value; 4…. 2 ma or 0…10v choice of integrated amplifier electronics; output signal can thus be utilised for direct further processing in an spc or pc.
