• Add to Inquiry Basket | Shri balaji saving systems offers welding set power saver which prevents power consumption during non-weld period. Normally, welding sets are kept continuously on, even when no welding is being carried out. During these periods, the welding transformer draws the magnetizing current or no load current, which is not doing useful work. The electronic saving unit detects these non-weld periods and switches off the power to the welding transformer after settable interval in between 2 and 40 seconds. When the operator just needs to touch the electrode to the material to be welded, the unit instantly starts the welding set. The energy saver is ideal for use with both types viz., transformer and rectifier types to save energy. The energy saver is suitable for any capacity of welding set. The power saver also improves power factor of the system, reduces maximum demand and extends life of transformer/rectifier. The payback period is less then a year. The firm also offers welding inverters of any capacity.
