The company manufactures these forgings in carbon steel [en-9, en-8, cl-1 to cl-4, etc], alloy steel [en-19, en-24, en-353, 20 mncr 5, etc], and stainless steel [300 and 400 series]. There are 3 steam hammers of maximum capacity 6 tonnes in the forge shop of the company. The machine shop contains modern machines such as vtl machines, lathes and cutting machines with 24-hour backup electricity. It has all top class testing equipments like ultrasonic testing, hardening and tempering, chemical testing, normalizing, annealing, etc. The range of forged items includes: rolls, gears, gear-blanks, round-bar, rings, crank-shaft, pinions, sprockets, spindles, hollow forgings, blocks, rectangular sleeves, etc., from 200 dia to 2000 dia, weight from 25 kg to 5500 kg [single piece]. The company also manufactures various types of forgings as the drawings of the customer. |
