Soliton Technologies Pvt. Ltd. Is engaged in manufacturing 3 Megapixel Firewire Camera, Model: M211_CFW30. The 3 mega pixel camera comes with an IEEE 1394 [FireWire] interface. The color output is in 8-bit Bayer encoded format. The camera outputs a maximum of 10.4 frames per second when it is set to the full resolution of 2048*1536 pixels. It takes full advantage of CMOS technology to provide complete flexibility in setting the resolution [window size] and frame rate.
The image output from the camera is provided using the industry standard FireWire interface. A PCI or PCI Express FireWire [1394 IIDC compliant] card is required to read the image data into a PC. The M211_CFW30 has been tested with FireWire Image Acquisition cards from National Instruments and other manufacturers. All FireWire cards that are IIDC 1394 v1.31 compliant are compatible with this camera
The camera needs a half-inch format C-mount lens, and should be selected based on the specific application. The power for camera operation is obtained through the FireWire port. The FireWire cable to connect the camera to the frame grabber card is available in standard lengths of 2, 4.5 and 10 meters. These requisite accessories may be purchased directly from Soliton with a 100% compatibility assurance.
The camera is sold along with the camera configuration utility that can be used to set and modify all the camera parameters. The camera works with any IEEE 1394a IIDC v1.31 compliant driver software and FireWire card.
