M.R.K engineers provides ssr will replace the electro mechanical relay. These are made from semi conductor device available from dc/ac from 3-32v to different voltages available up toj60 amps, ac/ac available up to160 amps in different voltage configuration. In single phase version and three phase version. The main advantages are [1] no moving parts [2] no contact bounce as such no contact wear, arcing or electro magnetic interference associated with contact bounce [3] fast operation i.E. Usually 1 ms or 10ms. This minimizes emi [4] shock and vibration resistance [5] absences of audio noise it] output contact latching [6] high sensitivity i.E. Ssr can be designed to interface directly with ttl, and cmos logic. These can be used to replace electro mechanical relay, for want of avoid the arcing of contactor and more in critical applications and automation.
