These moulding systems comprise of nitrogen generators or high pressure compressors, gas controllers, shut off valves and gas pins. The gas assist injection mouldings systems are available with salient features like five steps time, pressure and ramp per gas outlet. These gas assist injection moulding system provide advantages like 10 per cent to 30 per cent part weight reduction, up to 50 per cent reduction of cycle time on thick sections, up to 60 per cent reduction of clamp tonnage and up to 30 per cent energy savings. These systems are also useful for eliminating weld lines, sink marks, flash if any, and also stress & wrap. |
