• Add to Inquiry Basket | East coast seaweed technologies offers seaweed extracts containing natural plant growth regulators [pgr] like auxins, cytokinins, indoles and hormones helpful in controlling growth and structural development of plants. These pgrs seaweed extracts are available in small quantities measured generally in parts per million and is helpful with only a small amount. The indole compounds in the seaweed extracts from the company helps in developing the roots and buds of the plants. Cytokinins element act as hormones to promote rapid growth by speeding up the cell division process, which make it useful for treating tissue cultures. The seaweed extracts are also useful in stimulating photosynthesis thereby rejuvenating leaves in the foliage. The cytokinins in seaweed extract are a major factor in promoting the growth of fruiting spurs and reduce premature dropping of fruit of the apple and peach trees. Auxins are also hormones present in the roots and stems during cell division and move to areas of cell elongation to stretch the cell walls. Auxins used in the seaweed extracts help in the fruits and vegetables to stay fresh for a longer period. The deterioration of cells and tissues that results in rooting is known as delaying senescence resulting higher yield with this seaweed extract.
