This is basically an enzymatically hydrolyzed amino acid metal chelates for micronutrient or a foliar fertilizer formulation and amino acid based deficiency correctors. These are made available in form of zinc amino acid chelate, copper amino acid chelate. , iron amino acid chelate, magnesium amino acid chelate, manganese amino acid chelate and boron amino acid chelate.
This proteinates provides organic nitrogen along with micronutrient in chelated form. Plants absorb the amino acid along with metal ion quickly and easily. Digested proteins have a chelating effect on micronutrients. When applied together with micronutrients, the absorption and transportation of micronutrients inside the plant is easier. This effect is due to the chelating action and to the effect of cell membrane permeability. L-glycine & l-glutamic acid are known to be very effective chelating agents that are present in organic protein hydrolysate.
