Special features: optimum utilization of heat transfer capacity; impingement plate provides even distribution of hot gas over tube bundle; specially enclosed sub cooler section ensures perfect sub cooling; optional - water boxes specially designed to enable de-scaling without disconnecting water line resulting in less down time labour; and optional dual-circuit condensers available for duplex mode of compressor operation. Specifications: shell - standard erw pipes/shells rolled from tested quality steel plates; tubes - integrally finned, 10.2 fins per cm., 19 mm od copper tubes; tube sheets - carbon, steel, is: 2062 equivalent, designed to tema class `c`; boiler grade steel is: 2002 [on request]; water heads - cast iron water heads designed for easy removal for mechanical tube cleaning and/or tube replacement; designed for proper number of passes to give optimum water velocity through tubes combining efficient heat transfer and allowable pressure drop; refrigerant connections - hot gas inlet, liquid outlet, relief and purge connections provided; water connections - water inlet, water outlet, water head vent and drain connections are provided; design - 21 kg/cm² [300 psig] on shell side; pressures - 7 kg/cm² [100 psig] on tube side; codes and standards - the condensers are designed, constructed and tested in accordance with asme - section viii, unfired pressure vessel [upv] code; and finish - condensers have a rust preventive red oxide primer. |
