| S d industries, ahmedabad, supplies carbon/graphite bushes and bearings .These bushes and bearings are self-lubricated and have polishing effect upon the shaft against which they rub, thus reducing the wear rate. They can also run dry and are suitable for conditions where oil contamination should be avoided. These bushes and bearings can work unaffected by acids and alkalis and are suitable for use in works involving high temperatures. Carbon impregnated bush bearings are specially developed for stokers of boiler. They replace cast iron bushes giving more satisfactory results. The bushes and bearings find applications in thermal power station; chemical plants; petrochemical units, textiles, fertilisers, plywood, etc.
