Depending on the design these ladders are made from four different materials: pickled and passive stainless steel v2a [1.4301] or v4a [1.4571], hot galvanised steel or high-grade plastic [grp]. Strongbox section stiles and rungs with non-slip surfaces ensure maximum safety. There are no sharp edges or corners on any of the components, and the ends have covers. Shaft ladders conform to din 18 799-1; shaft access aids meet the requirements of the workplace order in din 19 549 and guv 16.11/4.94. The range also includes shaft cover in various designs - including one with a ventilation shaft for wells, spring enclosures, overhead, storage basins and other installations in drinking water supply works.
