| Non-toxic vci water-based corrosion inhibitor coatings are supplied by ecochem innovative solutions & services. Some of the salient features of the corrosion coatings are: non-flammable, weldable, biodegradable, and have excellent salt protective barier. This barier allows visual inspection of the metal surface after application. These coatings also provide up to 30 months of protection in harsh, outdoor unsheltered protection to replace conventional, toxic and health hazard oil-based rust preventive. These corrosion inhibitor coatings find their applications in: castings, forgings, tubular parts, machined and honed metal components; used as quenching fluid or in dipping applications operating at elevated temperature; and precision machined parts, structural steel, sintered metals, bars and roll stock. Some of the features of these corrosion inhibitor coatings include; non-flammable and weldable; form fast drying and glossy coatings; form clear and dry films, which render attractive appearance to protected parts, easy removable with magna alkaline cleaners; heat stable and need minimal surface preparation; can be applied on damp surfaces; excellent salt spray resistance; can be overcoated with most generic topcoats, epoxies, polyurethane and alkyds; excellent inter-film adhesion; for use on ferrous and non-ferrous metals; conform to us fda in compositional compliance; eliminate cleaning and housekeeping problems associated with oils; unique vapour phase action also protects uncoated and difficult-to-reach areas.
