The new comfort platform is now inclded on all palm-style dynorbital-spirit and dynorbital supreme random orbital sanders. This provides additional hand and wrist support, further enhancing operator comfort. It also offers increased protection against cold air exhaust. More power: true 12,000 rpm air motor; floating rotor utilises five blades, producing more usable power [0.25 hp/186 w]; high-strength, composite rotor has better lubricating qualities, allowing blades to last longer; and less air [14 scfm/396 lpm] is used more efficiently to maintain maximum power. Drop-in motor: less repair lessens downtime; and average repair time now less than five minutes. Other notable feature is colour-coded levers: black lever identifies 3/32" [2.5 mm] dia orbit, used for ultra-fine sanding; grey lever identifies 3/16" [5 mm] dia orbit, used for general sanding; and blue lever identifies 3/8" [10 mm] dia orbit, used for aggressive sanding.
