| Snow tech equipments offers disillation system, which system is ideally suitable for separation of heat sensitive products at high vacuum and temperature. The system has a kettle on which a falling film calandria/reboiler and distillation columns is mounted. The feed material is taken in the kettle. The recirculation pump recalculates the feed material from the kettle in to the falling film calandria where the product vaporizes. The liquid and product vapour enters back in the kettle. The ,concentrated liquid falls back into the kettle, the product vapour !s into the packed column. The packed column is provided structure packing for minimal pressure drop through which the -our rises into the condenser. The vapours are condensed in the condenser. Part of the distilled product can be sent back as reflux if required and balance is the product. No heating in the kettle hence no thermal degradation due to liquid head. Since vapourisation/heating is in falling film the liquid exposed to high vaccum hence very low thermal degradation. Recirculation 1p ensure constant wetting of falling film evaporator tubes hence no dry spots. Complete product can be stripped out of feed, as system volume required for pump operation is minimum.
