Gea ecoflex laser welded cassette [lwc] plate heat exchanger is based on the nt-plate technology. The lwc is available in various plate lengths. The laser-welded seam hermetically seals the flow field neoprene sealing rings with a high resistance to chemical attack are fitted to the joints of the lwc. The ecoloc -system hides these seals in a special groove, minimizing direct contact with the medium and extending their life. The sealing rings also provide access for cleaning improves stability against thermal tension. Lwc plate exchangers work on the principle of 100% separate flow paths. The critical medium moves through a hermetically welded path, transferring heat to the less critical medium in its c conventional sealed path. The innovative flow path geometry generates turbulence in the media flowing through the gaps. This results in very high efficient heat transfer with minimum pressure drop. Excellent heat transfer is possible even moderate flow rates. Plate types with different heat transfer values are available for different applications.
