| Hyt engineering co offers a facing, centering, drilling and tapping machine. This machine is ideal for the above operations and more, on ends of different types of axles/shafts used in various industries such as automobile, defence, railways, etc. The machine comes in two versions--single and double ended.The machine can provide accuracy over length of +4 mm or better, if required. This machine includes following major parameters: - length of axle - 2200 mm [min], 2600 mm [max]; - diameter of axle - 100 mm [min], 270 mm [max]; - maximum weight of axle - 1.5 tonnes; and - spindle speed - 100-160 rpm, can be varied by pick off gears. The machine is available with unique features as given below: - high precision spindle assembly of milling, centering, and tapping head; - hardened and ground guideways for feed-cum-positioning table; - location of centering head spindle with respect of axle centre with backlash free v-lock arrangement for accurate location; and - axle held on self centering vice, therefore alignment of axle centre line with the centre line of centering and drilling is ensured. All gears iincluded in the various heads are carburised, hardened and profile ground. The machine also consists of several safety features.
