Aeromatic manufactures variable inlet vane damperthat provides energy savings with fans utilizing variable inlet vanes [viv]. Viv dampers are useful for capacity modulation. These provide accurate modulation and power saving over other styles of dampers at reduced airflow. Once an inlet vane is particularly closed, each blade directs the air into the wheel in the direction of rotation and so the air is press run. This brings about a reduction in the capacity that is determined by the type of system and type of fan vane combination. For every inlet vane position, it has different capacity v/s static pressure curve and capacity v/s brake horsepower curve generated by the fan. Viv dampers are made with mechanical principle of adjustment; inlet guide vanes can be adjusted synchronously in the same angular positing by a connecting element; and adjustment can be made either automatically by means of adjusting element from pulse generator or by hand.
