• Add to Inquiry Basket | Renishaw metrology systems supplies the resm angle encoder. This angle encodercomprises the resm ring, the sr readhead and si interface. Following are some of the technical features of this angle encoder which include: the resm is a one piece stainless steel ring with 20µm graduations marked axially on the periphery. It features the in - trac optical refence mark, which is repeatable in both directions at speeds over 4,500 rev / min [ ø 52 mm ] and up to 85º c. The resm angle encoders` impressive performance with accuracy of ± 0.5 arc second and resolution and repeatability to 0.02 arc seconds suits the most demanding precision applications. The low profile ring is available in a different sizes [ 52 mm to 417 mm ] and line counts. Installation errors are mini mized by the tapper mounts and simplifies integration. The resm`s low mass and low inertia design guarantees the highest system accuracyand dynamic performance. The sr readhead provides high speed and high temperature performance [ up to 85º c and over 4,500 rev/min ]. It has the benefit of unique filtering optics which provides excellent immunity to dust, dirt and scratches.
