Cole-Parmer offers Corning ® Digital Hot Plates. Flat, bright white Pyroceram® brand glass ceramic top material used in these hot plates provides uniform heating, is easy to clean, and resists scratches, corrosion, and chemicals. The housing features a spill trough to deflect spills away from the display and control knobs. Electronics are sealed and enclosed to protect against harsh chemicals. An external support rod holder let the user mount a thermometer, electrode, or burette. Hot plates feature a LED light to warn if temperature exceeds 140° F [60° C]. Temperature display is adjustable in 5° increments and indicates when set temperature is reached.
