| Pune-based sandvik asia ltd manufactures bi-metal blades - 3809 sandflex, which are flexible, strong power hacksaw blades with a toothed strip of high-speed steel.These blades are carefully hardened and come with precision-milled and precision-set teeth. These blades can withstand higher feed pressures, cutting speeds and blade tension than conventional power hacksaw blades, without the risk of blade failure. This ensures high performance in all power hack sawing of homogeneous materials, and of rolled sections and tubular work pieces. These have blue/orange colour coding and are available from stock with both conventional hole locations and with displaced holes for kasto power hacksaws. These blades are available in various dimensions and the minimum number of teeth per inch is 4 and the maximum number is 14 per inch. For kasto machines, special hole locations for blades starting from dimensions 450 mm x 38 mm x 2.00 mm are available with minimum number of teeth 3 per inch and maximum is 10 per inch.
