| Shalimar seal & tar products industries manufactures and supplies silicon resin coatings [type cswr-110] that are supplied as colorless, and ready-to-use materials, which can be sprayed or brush applied onto the surface. These coatings are very useful to provide water repellent surface with improved self-cleaning properties on exterior building brickwork, concrete cement rendering, natural or cast stone or sand stone. The coatings help in reducing efflorescent due to soluble salts in brickwork. They are brush or spray applied directly from the container. The coatings reduce causes of cracking and crazing in in-situ or precast concrete which are equally effective on old or new surfaces. Other favorable features includes that the coatings are even unaffected by salt-laden atmosphere and reduce unsightly staining. Risk of efflorescence is reduced since the coatings protect brickwork. The coatings preserve natural colour and texture of treated material, allowing surface to breathe. The silicon resin coatings repel rainwater and inhibit ingress of surface water, provided there is no hydrostatic pressure.
