| Potence controls provides hach ldo probe based on a breakthrough technology. It is used for monitoring dissolved oxygen that offers many advantages in wastewater treatment plants. It provides less maintenance, continuous monitoring, and more accurate readings. It is superior than conventional electrochemistry based monitoring because it is based on light emitting technology. It is capable of monitoring a range of 0-20 ppm, with an accuracy of 0.1 ppm. Temperature and pressure compensation are in-built and a fast response time gives quicker readings: membrane cleaning and replacement is a thing of the past because there are no membranes; there are no electrolyte solutions to poison or replenish; there is no anode or cathode to clean or replace; and all one has to do is periodically wipe the sensor off with a wet rag. An international standard calibrates the instrument with every reading. Hach ldo probe gives more stable and accurate measurements for a longer time because it is not affected by ph swings, hydrogen sulfide, wastewater chemicals, or heavy metals. It can be used in aeration tanks, anaerobic digesters, aerobic digesters. It can also be used in conjunction with various other parameters like ph, conductivity, sludge level, chlorine, turbidity, tds, orp, etc.
